Starting this summer I am running a few specials. I have a MAP agreement with Fralin Pickups so I must advertise Retail price. BUT with putting a few different packages together I thought We could still save you some money on Quality guitar parts So first will be ANY Fralin Strat set, (of 3 single coil strat pickups) you will receive free set of 5 Raw Vintage Tremolo springs. Now there are not just some lame door prize but in my opinion the BEST tremolo springs in the works. Why are the tremolo springs so important. Same reason a drive shaft is important to a car. The tremolo springs, along with holding the tremolo in place and acting as a counter force to the string tension, also carry the actual sound energy to the body which directly effect the tone of the strings. If you don't believe me try finding a way to just tighten a string over a guitar body and hen plucking it. Even though it is over the body you will have no sound.
The RV springs are balanced high quality material. It's hard to explain in such few words but MOST guitars come with crappy tremolo springs. It makes the overall playability bad. The bridge MUST remain at a certain angle consistantly and yet there must be enough play or freedom so the player has no trouble with dives and such AND I have had tremolos that after tons of time doing a perfect setup then play it and after using the tremolo for a short time, I had big trouble tuning. For example I would try to tune a high E I would get the note close but then it was like a long hallway in a bad dream, you could keep turning it and the note would get close and fall off. That was the cheap springs losing their tension.
